Working at HKS in the Hospitality Interiors department has been a hell of an experience. Our area of expertise includes high rise residential towers, hotels, resorts and spa's doing Interior master planning, Interior architecture, FFE specialization and brand design amongst others.
My role in the team focused on the architectural documentation side majorly working directly under the Project Architect. Some of the major projects I have been a part of are - Isla Dorada (A high rise luxury residential towers located in Cancun, Mexico), Hana Alila (Marriott brand resort located in Hawaii) and Crossroads residential towers (located in Los Angeles). While all these projects have had there challenges and things to learn from, I have really enjoyed the fact that each time we work on a project I get to learn about the diversity of culture and history that comes along with the site and the clients.
