DESIGN INTENT
The process of designing this museum begins by defining what each FEAR, WANT, EXPRESSION, and WORSHIP means. The idea of my project is to experience each of these feelings in a journey vertically in a very specific order. Starting below grade with the gallery of FEAR, the visitor moves his way upward by overcoming each of the feelings FEAR - WANT - EXPRESSION - and finally reaches the top which has the gallery of WORSHIP and connection to the heavenly. The double skin screen facade acts as a guide for the visitors through their experience upward by increasing its porosity on their way up.
